If this is your notebook, please contact president@jgsla.org to reclaim it.
JGSLA has just received the very sad news of the passing, after a short illness, of the son of Mark and Joan Halpern. Mark is one of our long-distance members, and one of the Board members of JRI-Poland. He was one of the chairs of the 2009 conference in Philadelphia and was very supportive of our conference. His message on the loss of his son follows.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear son Jeremy (Feivel ben Moshe) on September 2, 2010. His death at age 33 was a result of complications of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 5 at 12 noon at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610.269.6567.
Following the ceremony, mourners are invited back to our home in West Chester, PA.
A private burial service will be held on Tuesday, September 7 at the family plot in New Jersey.
In Jeremy’s memory, contributions may be made to:
Be The Match Foundation
3001 Broadway Street NE

We appreciate your love and support.
