Music and Genealogy: The Music of Our Ancestors and Family Musical Heritage

Music has been a significant aspect of Jewish culture. Our ancestors enjoyed live Jewish music and in the early days of recordings Jews captured their unique music for posterity. Musical ability can also be passed down through the generations and become part of family history. We will enjoy the music of our ancestors and learn about the role music played in their lives. Is musical performance part of your family story? How can you research your musical family history? These questions will be answered in this program.

Please note order of the schedule has changed:

December 18th, 2022  Sunday Afternoon, meeting will start at 11:00 a.m.

First we eat! Chanukah yummies 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed with a presentation and musical performance at 12:30 p.m, finishing at 2:00 p.m.
