Check in at 2pm with the program starting at 2:30 PM. After the program in one of the classrooms, the center will remain open until 5 PM for research and utilization of audio/visual copying equipment.

The Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center has amassed digital resources from printed sources like newspapers and magazines which is unmatched anywhere. It is the nation’s largest public genealogy research center with in-person assistance, physical records, and digital resources. The library is why the IAJGS is meeting in Fort Wayne, Indiana for this year’s conference. Their databases are part of a unique collection of print materials, microtext, online resources, and staff expertise. You may think you can find everything from the digital resources you presently access but you have not been introduced to the Allen County Public Genealogy Center.
