In conjunction with the Jewish-American Hall of Fame, we will 
honor the life of Austrian-American actress and all-around surprising person, Hedy Lamarr and induct her into the Jewish-American Hall of Fame.
Hedy Lamarr’s medal representing her induction into the Jewish-American Hall of Fame will be presented to her son, Anthony Loder, who will speak about his mother. The program will include a reading of the prize-winning essay in the 2017 Norman Alexander Award for Excellence in Jewish Student Writing, “Hedy Lamarr, Beauty and the Brain.” The essay was written by Sonya Kest, Yula Girls High School, Los Angeles and will be read by Katie Kest. There also will be film clips.
