JGSLA member Jan Berlfein Burns, genealogist, writer and photographer brings together her interests to explore the lives of three young Jewish girls from distant cities, across continents, as they were caught in a moment of history. Included in her talk, Jan will share excerpts from fellow JGSLA member Henny Roth’s story of her escape from Europe in the summer of 1940.
Henny’s book Just a Jewish Girl will be available for sale following the program.
