The JewishGen website offers dreidel Channukkhdatabases, research tools, and other resources to help those with Jewish ancestry research and find family members. Learn about what’s new along with previews of future developments and projects coming in 2015. Managing Director Warren Blatt will demonstrate the ever-expanding databases, resources, and search tools. If you have questions about how to maximize your research, there will be plenty of time for an extended Q & A period AND for latkes, sufganiyot, and socializing.
Warren Blatt has more than 35 years of research experience with Russian and Polish Jewish records, and also authored JewishGen’s FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions and dozens of JewishGen InfoFiles. He is the author of Resources for Jewish Genealogy in the Boston Area (Boston: JGSGB, 1996), and co-author of Getting Started in Jewish Genealogy (Avotaynu, 1999), and other works. In 2004, he was awarded the IAJGS Lifetime Achievement Award in Jerusalem.
