My Journey of Researching, Writing and Self-Publishing My Family’s Jewish Polish Roots.

Dr. Cynthia Rawitch, retired Vice Provost at California State University, Northridge is a seasoned writer and speaker. Her career in journalism and academia spanned from working as a reporter for the Associated Press to 40 years at CSUN. Teaching a single journalism class progressed to positions as Professor of Journalism, Department Chair, Associate Dean of the College of Arts, Media, and Communication, Associate Vice President of Undergraduate studies, and Vice Provost.

Dr. Rawitch recently completed writing her family’s story based upon her years of genealogical research. Her family story and the process of researching, writing and self-publishing is the focus of the JGSLA January program.

*There is ample free street parking on Sunday on surrounding streets. Limited handicap parking is available in the rear of the synagogue. The synagogue mandates copy of vaccination and masks for in-person attendance.

There will be NO traveling library.
