This presentation will bring you up to date on new records coming from Ukraine and new opportunities for family historians to access information that has previously been unavailable in the United States.

Chuck Weinstein was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the valley, so he is virtually coming home.  Chuck is a Past-President of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island and current Vice President of the Genealogy Federation of Long Island.  Since 2012, he has been Towns Director for JewishGen’s Ukraine Research Division (formerly Ukraine SIG) and was JewishGen’s Susan E. King Volunteer of the Year Award winner in 2019.  He has presented at a variety of venues, from international conferences to local synagogues and libraries.
This presentation is geared to any beginner thru intermediate interested in records of Ukraine

There will be no physical location so the JGSLA Traveling Library and Mentors Corner will  NOT  be available for this meeting.
